Lower Level Program
Building Strong Foundations for Learning, Confidence, and Belonging
At The Chase Academy Learning and Social Collective, we believe the elementary years should be about more than simply keeping up.
They should be a time when children discover their strengths, develop confidence, learn how they learn best, and begin building the skills they will carry with them throughout their lives.\
Our Lower-Level Elementary Program provides a small, supportive, neurodiversity-affirming learning environment designed for students who benefit from individualized instruction, predictable routines, explicit skill development, and a classroom where differences are understood and supported.
We build the classroom around the learner.

Who Is the Lower-Level Elementary Program For?
Our Lower-Level Elementary Program is designed for young learners who may need more individualized support than a traditional classroom can provide.
Students may benefit from support with:
-
Foundational reading, writing, and mathematics
-
Attention and task completion
-
Executive functioning
-
Communication and self-advocacy
-
Emotional regulation
-
Sensory processing
-
Social interaction and peer relationships
-
Transitions and changes in routine
-
Building independence
-
Developing confidence as a learner
-
Some students arrive at Chase after struggling in larger classrooms. Others may have experienced frustration, school avoidance, behavioral challenges, or a growing belief that they simply aren't "good at school."
We work to change that story.
Every child deserves the opportunity to experience success as a learner.

Learning Starts With the Individual
Children do not all learn in the same way, at the same pace, or on the same timeline.
Our Lower-Level Elementary Program recognizes those differences rather than expecting students to overcome them before they can participate.
Instruction is individualized based on each students:
-
Current academic abilities
-
Learning profile
Strengths and interests -
Communication needs
-
Executive functioning skills
-
Sensory needs
-
Social-emotional development
-
Level of independence
Teachers continually adjust instruction, supports, pacing, and expectations so students can experience meaningful challenge without becoming overwhelmed.
The goal isn't to make every student learn the same way. The goal is to help every student become a successful learner.
More Than Academics
Elementary school is about much more than reading, writing, and math.
Our students are developing an understanding of themselves, learning how to navigate relationships, discovering their interests, and beginning to understand their place within a community.
That's why our Lower-Level Elementary Program supports the whole child.
Academic Skills
Building strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and other core areas through individualized and differentiated instruction.
Executive Functioning Skills
Developing organization, attention, planning, working memory, task initiation, flexibility, and self-monitoring.
Social-Emotional Skills
Learning to identify emotions, regulate responses, build relationships, navigate conflicts, and communicate effectively.
Communication & Self-Advocacy
Helping students understand their needs and develop the confidence to communicate them.
Independence
Teaching students to take increasing responsibility for their materials, routines, decisions, and learning.
Creativity & Exploration
Providing opportunities for art, technology, movement, hands-on projects, clubs, special interests, and experiential learning.
Belonging
Creating a community where students can develop friendships and experience what it feels like to be genuinely understood and included.

Success Looks Different for Every Student
At Chase, progress isn't measured by comparing one child to another. We look at where each student started - and how far they have come.
Success might mean:
-
Reading independently for the first time
-
Completing a classroom assignment
-
Asking for help instead of shutting down
-
Transitioning between activities successfully
-
Participating in a group lesson
-
Making a friend
-
Recovering from frustration more quickly
-
Trying something difficult
-
Advocating for a sensory need
-
Completing a multi-step task
-
Becoming more independent
-
Discovering a subject they love
These moments matter. They are the building blocks of confidence, independence, and lifelong learning.
Every step forward is worth celebrating.
Where Growth Meets Possibility
For many families, finding the right school means finding a place where their child doesn't have to spend every day trying to fit into an environment that wasn't designed for them.
At The Chase Academy Learning and Social Collective, we are creating something different.
A place where differences are understood.
A place where strengths are discovered.
A place where challenges are met with support and skill-building.
A place where students can experience belonging without having to change who they are.
And a place where children who may have struggled to see themselves as successful learners can begin to say:
"I can do this."
That confidence can change everything.

Is the Lower-Level Elementary Program Right for Your Child?
If your child needs a smaller, more individualized, supportive learning environment, we would love to introduce you to the Collective.
Let's identify what is getting in the way. Let's discover your child's strengths. Let's build the skills they need. And let's create a foundation for everything that comes next.
Where Growth Meets Possibility.
