The Chase Academy, Inc. can be located in the Private School Directory for Volusia County by clicking on the link above and selecting "Private School Information for Parents" in the last section titled K-12 Private School Information. From here, click on the third option, "Directory of Private Schools," select "Volusia" for the District and press the GO button. Scroll down the directory to the "T" section to find The Chase Academy.
A parent must file an intent to participate in the McKay Scholarship
Program via the
Florida School Choice website. For the 2010 - 2011 school year, the intent can be filed after
May 3, 2010. It is important to note that the child must be in the public school system at the time of filing the intent. The Chase Academy, Inc. will not be able to register and/or enroll any student in our school unless an intent has been filed.

Deadlines for filing a parental intent and private school enrollment are statutory deadlines; therefore, the Department of Education cannot make exceptions if these deadlines are missed.
Failure to complete attendance verification will result in a postponement of scholarship payments until the next scheduled payment period. Attendance verification is done via the McKay District Verification Form. The McKay District Verification Form can be accessed from the above link on the left sidebar under FORMS.
The 2010 - 2011 deadlines for filing intent, private school enrollment and enrollment verification are detailed in the following chart. Please note that your intent to utilize the McKay Scholarship must be made by July 3, 2010. Your student's enrollment must be completed by August 2, 2010 in order for a student to receive a first period Scholarship payment on September 1st.
